Thread veins
Thread veins are networks of visible purple/red veins, commonly found on the cheeks, nose, forehead and chest area
Treatment is the cauterisation of the vessel to remove all vascular (blood) blemishes on the skin. The most common of these are facial red veins, spider naevi and blood spots. The APILUS machine provides more effective thermolysis treatment for facial thread veins due to new computerised technology which produces an exceptionally accurate current and outstanding results. Spider Naevi are similar to thread veins but have a central red dot with what looks like 'spider legs' extending from the centre, they are treated in the same way as thread veins.
Skin Tags
Skin tags are small round fibrous tissue that protrudes, usually on the neck or underarm areas, particularly where there is friction. They are removed by slicing through the 'stalk' that attach's the skin tag to the surface, which in turn cauterises the blood supply and the skin tag then comes away.
Milia
Milia or white heads are small white hard lumps caused by a fatty deposit, which are caught under the the skins layers, with no pore opening. Electrolysis removes them effectively
